Skin Check Fees at OJ Clinics
At OJ Clinics, we believe patients should understand the expected cost of their care before proceeding with treatment. Where applicable, we will explain the total fee, estimated Medicare rebate and expected out-of-pocket cost before your procedure is booked.
Skin Checks
Skin checks are bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders, where Medicare eligibility requirements are met.
Skin Procedures
Skin procedures are privately billed.
Medicare rebates may apply to some procedures; however, the Medicare rebate may not cover the full cost of treatment.
Before your procedure is booked, we will provide you with:
- the total procedure fee;
- the estimated Medicare rebate, where applicable; and
- your estimated out-of-pocket cost.
The estimated out-of-pocket cost is generally between $150 and $450 per procedure, depending on the type and complexity of the procedure.
Procedure fees and applicable out-of-pocket costs apply to all patients, including pensioners and concession card holders.
Any additional costs, such as pathology or services provided by an external provider, will be discussed where relevant.
Botulinum Treatment
Treatment is privately billed, with the cost determined by the areas being treated and the amount of treatment required.
Dr Jindal will assess your individual requirements during consultation and provide you with the total treatment fee before proceeding.
Dermal Filler
Dermal filler treatments are privately billed and tailored to the individual patient’s treatment plan.
Your clinician will discuss the recommended treatment and provide you with the total cost before proceeding.
Estimated fee: $550 per mL of dermal filler.
The final cost will depend on the product and volume required to achieve the agreed treatment plan.
Thread Lift
Thread lift treatments are privately billed. The treatment plan and number of areas treated will be determined following clinical assessment.
Your clinician will provide you with the total treatment fee before proceeding.
Estimated fee: $4,000 + 10% GST per treatment area.
The final cost may vary depending on the treatment area, complexity and individual treatment requirements.
Facial Assessment
Facial assessments are bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders, where Medicare eligibility requirements are met.
For patients who are not eligible for Medicare, the private consultation fee is $150.
Spot Reservation Fee
A $150 Spot Reservation Fee (SRF) is required to secure an Aesthetic facial assessment appointment.
If you attend your appointment, the $150 SRF can be:
- applied towards the cost of a subsequent procedure; or
- refunded in full if you choose not to proceed with treatment.
The Spot Reservation Fee is forfeited in the event of a no-show.

Medicare rebates are determined by Medicare and depend on the procedure performed and the patient’s individual eligibility. OJ Clinics cannot guarantee the amount of any Medicare rebate.
